Javier Girotto’s captivating compositions, steeped in the popular traditions of his splendid, troubled country, now appear in a new orchestral version. The style is well balanced, based on arrangements that are classic but also greatly varied and comtemporary, and ample space is dedicated  to solos by Javier Girotto himself on the soprano sax, as well as other musicians in the orchestra. Music that ranges from the tango to Argentinian folklore, blending in jazz and moments of improvisation that seem almost classical.
