Geologists' mission is to study the land around us: from afar with satellites and drones, up close with a hammer, compass, microscope and numerous other instruments in order to highlight its peculiarities and critical issues. Knowing our host environment enables us to plan for proper coexistence with it, preventing and mitigating potential associated natural hazards.
