Archive: Call To Arms & Angels European Tour
The British collective led by Darius Keeler and Danny Griffits comes to Rome for an unmissable concert

The Archive, the musical collective formed in England in 1994 and led by keyboardists Darius Keeler and Danny Griffits, arrive Nov. 6 at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone for an unmissable concert as part of the Call To Arms & Angels European Tour.

The concert is a make-up of the show originally scheduled for November 2022; tickets already issued will be valid for the new date. Those who choose not to attend the concerts can apply for a monetary refund by filling out the appropriate form on the website of the ticketing circuit from which they made their purchase no later than January 31, 2023. Those who purchased their tickets at the Auditorium Parco della Musica box office may obtain a refund by showing up with the ticket at the same box office no later than the same deadline of January 31, 2023.

The Archive was born in the mid-1990s as a trip hop group, on the same scene as groups such as Massive Attack and Portishead, but the evolution of their project has led them to overcome the limitations of their early style and move away from it, although some echoes are present in some pieces. Their sounds are now much broader, ranging from acoustic to electronic, ambient to psychedelic, and progressive rock, which is probably the definition most frequently used by the group's members to describe their music in interviews. Elements such as the mélange de genre, the complexity of the music writing, the long instrumental parts, and the melodic elements created their own distinctive sonority. Although the actual group is Darius Keeler and Danny Griffiths, they prefer the term "collective" to "band."
