A return to the roots for GeGè Telesforo with his personal tribute to blues and the sound of the late 1950s jazz-groovy period ensembles of Blue Note Records, as well as a celebration of Rome's most active and beloved music club of the same name from the late 1980s until its final closure due to the pandemic. "I heard the "call of the forest" after dreaming, during the pandemic, of playing irresistible shuffle-blues at the Big Mama in Trastevere with all my friends present. Duke Ellington said, "Tonight, we're going to play you some blues, and some ... not blues!" Good. This is what we are going to do as well," explains GeGè Telesforo.
