Eric Waddell& The Abundant Life Singers is one of the leading groups in Baltimore, Maryland. In its prodigious growth, the choir has gradually gathered more and more phenomenal vocalists: at present the choir has about one hundred and fifty choristers and an outstanding band. Under the masterful direction of Eric Waddell, the group's front man and leader, he achieved a level of vocal perfection that reminds us of the lineups of Hezekiah Walker and Ricky Dillard.

In its career, the group has shared the stage with legends such as Pastor Timothy Wright and Albertina Walker; with gospel stars such as BeBe&CeCeWinans, Pastor Marvin Sapp, Vashawn Mitchell, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Pastor Charles Jenkins, Dorothy Norwood, Keith Pringle and the legendary DottiePeoples. Notable appearances include: in August 2014 at BET's Bobby Jones Gospel; in September 2015 for Gospel Heritage Month at the Kennedy Center; and in January 2017 performance for the Inauguration of the new presidential term.

Eric Waddell is one of the most outstanding Ministers of Music and choir director, renowned lecturer and composer, many of the pieces in the repertoire are of his own composition-a sound that combines the sounds of traditional gospel with new trends in contemporary gospel.
