Emiliana Torrini & The Colorist Orchestra celebrate the release of their second studio project with a concert on Aug. 1 at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone during Roma Summer Fest 2023. Among the best collaborations in recent years, "Racing The Storm" is pure alchemy, between dreamlike atmospheres, explosions of sound and word music, contaminations and elegant melodies. There is something magical behind a great collaboration. When two artists are able to synchronize on an infinitesimal level, where every note and every breath align, something alchemical is created. And that is what The Colorist Orchestra knows how to do it in an excellent way: since 2013, in fact, the Belgian duo (composed of multi-instrumentalists and longtime friends Aarich Jespers e Kobe Proesmans) has made a career out of reinventing the discographies of a wide range of artists, enriching them with their vast backgrounds in pop, chamber pop and electronic music, literally transforming original compositions.
