Viviana Fafone

Professor of Physics and Gravitational Waves at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He has done his research at CERN, the Frascati National Laboratories of the National Institute of Nuclear Physics and the European Gravitational Observatory. He has participated in the VIRGO experiment since 2006 and has been INFN manager of the Advanced Virgo detector since 2018. She is one of the authors of the first gravitational wave detection, which was awarded a Nobel Prize in 2017, and more than 300 scientific papers in international journals.
