Composer, teacher, journalist, author and multi-instrumentalist, performing with such luminaries as Larry Adler, Tom O'Dell and members of Dire Straits. He has written numerous soundtracks for BBC TV and was commissioned to write a piece for the International Space Station. He has presented more than 50 musical films for BBC's The ONE Show and is a regular voice on radio. In 2022 he published his first book on science and music, translated into Italy as Wave on Wave (Codice Edizioni, 2023). He is currently director of expressive arts at Monkton Combe School in the United Kingdom.
