A cyberecologist and artist, since late 2006 she has teamed up with Salvatore Iaconesi - artist, partner and symbiont of her life who passed away on July 18, 2022 - forming international duo AOS - Art is Open Source. Together they have created works and performances exploring the relationship between humans, technology and data exhibited around the world, regularly contributing to the scientific community through teaching, publishing articles, and participating in conferences and symposia.
