Researcher in ISPRA since 2006. He received his bachelor's degree in Marine Environmental Science, from Parthenope University and his Ph.D. in Polar Science from University of Siena. Focuses on exploration and research in deep environments using remotely controlled underwater robots (ROVs) to study the ecology of Mediterranean deep benthic communities and the anthropogenic impact in these remote environments due to the presence of marine litter.
