Massimo Bernaschi

Vice president of the GARR Consortium, he graduated in physics with Giorgio Parisi while working on the development of INFN's APE computer. He has worked at IBM's European Center for Scientific and Engineering Computing and has been a Senior Technologist at CNR's Institute for Computing Applications since 1998. He is a delegate at the European Defense Agency for CapTech "Communication, Information System and Networks." He has been very active in Graphics Processing Units (GPU) programming in recent years, and in 2012 he received the title of CUDA Fellow from Nvidia.
