Senior Technologist in ISPRA, geologist, Secretary General of the Subcommission Europe of the Commission for the Geological Map of the World and member for Italy of the International Commission on the History of Geological Sciences - IUGS. Author of numerous geological and geothematic maps, about 100 scientific publications, edited volumes on cartography and history of geology. His idea of science popularization involves the participation and involvement of the public in direct contact with the land and the environment.
