An ornithologist at ISPRA, she is involved in bird monitoring and conservation projects and the study of bird migration, including through scientific ringing. In the past, she has been involved as a freelancer in wildlife monitoring, environmental education and didactics aimed at all age groups, and the establishment of an ornithological museum, in collaboration with several Italian universities and foundations. She is the author of about 25 scientific articles and several popular publications.
