A molecular biologist with a master's degree in science journalism and institutional science communication, she is a researcher at the Anton Dohrn Zoological Station in Naples and at the National Biodiversity Future Centre. Studies the molecular evolution of marine plants, their response to light and their biological cycles. She writes about science in "The New Ecology" and is the author of Anthropica (Hoepli, 2023).
