A researcher in Earth Observation and data analytics at ASI since 2017, he has been working on natural and man-made hazards, disasters, land use and management, and cultural heritage conservation using optical and radar satellite data since 2008. He has work experience as a researcher at the University of Durham and the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) in the United Kingdom. Among current assignments, he is an ASI member of the Working Group on Disasters of the Committee on Earth Observation Satellites (CEOS).
