A graduate in Geological Sciences from La Sapienza in Rome, she has been a researcher at ISPRA since 2007, where she is mainly involved in environmental characterization and monitoring studies for the evaluation of the effects induced by sediment movement in coastal and marine environments, with particular reference to the expected effects on the bottom. Participates in Italian and European research projects, drafting guidelines and protocols. Carries out environmental education and science outreach activities by leading geological and nature tours, with a focus on the younger generation.
