A senior technologist at the Italian Space Agency, he is head of ASI's Human Flight and Science Experimentation Unit. It has carried out activities for the realization of Scientific Satellites and Payloads, Technologies, Ground Station and stratospheric balloon launching. Program Manager for major national and international Science and Technology programs, is responsible for the Italian Delegation to the ESA Science Program Board and is ASI's "focal point" for collaboration with NASA on science missions.
