He studied geographical, environmental and agro-forestry sciences at the Universities of Bologna and Barcelona, where he received a Ph. Specializing in agroecology and agri-food systems, he has worked as a researcher between Europe and Latin America. He is involved in agroecology and agricultural economics research and science communication. He is the author of the book A Warm Autumn: ecological crisis, climate emergency and other unnatural catastrophes (Code Editions, 2023).
