Unforgettable Duets

Duets have always characterized the history of music. There are unforgettable ones in jazz music: think of Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong, or Nat King Cole and Natalie Cole, Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra, but there are also lesser-known ones worth discovering.

The musical show that will bring the Jumpin' Jive Orchestra to the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone on Jan. 20 will revive the magic of the famous duets of the swing era, through a sought-after selection of songs signed by composers such as George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, and Duke Ellington. There will be no shortage of tales and anecdotes about the protagonists of jazz and the discovery of those overseas crossings that bring this overwhelming rhythm, born to make people dance and have fun, to Italy. A concert in which music and words will be intertwined under the banner of vocal duets, and male and female voices and many guests will take turns on stage to make the atmosphere even more magical and unforgettable.
