And they are changing Italian music, whose new generations RETAPE takes into account anyway. Because Rome has once again become a magnet, a place where things &#8216;happen,&#8217; where music is no longer confined to recording studios but lives in the neighborhoods, in the basements, in the streets. With many difficulties, especially in recent years because of Covid, but with equal indomitable passion.<\/p>\n<p>RETAPE 2023, now in its eighth year, has featured dozens and dozens of artists over the years, both brand new and better known, many discoveries and many proposals, trying to stimulate the public&#8217;s curiosity and give a chance to many interesting young artists. And so it will be again this year, with twenty-two artists in ten evenings, <strong>from January 14 to May 27<\/strong>, a long survey in what is the music of our days, the truest, freest, original, independent music.
