Elio Germano <\/strong>and Teho Teardo<\/strong> arrive on February 18, 2023 at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone to present Paradiso XXXIII. A popularized show without anything being explained.<\/p>\n

Dante Alighieri, in the 33rd canto of Paradise, finds himself in the awkwardness of the human being trying to describe the immense, the unspeakable, trying to recount the unaccountable. This deviation from “supreme wonder” will be staged by creating a unique, almost physical experience for the viewer in the presence of immensity. Elio Germano and Teho Teardo are voice and music to say beauty and approach the mystery, the immense, the unspeakable sought by Dante in the verses of the XXXIII canto of Paradise. From the compelling and “ethereal” sound sprouts the unprecedented and unpredictable music of the avant-garde composer and springs forth the visionary and intangible direction of Simone Ferrari and Lulu Helbaek<\/strong>, poets of the gaze, able to move between Olympic ceremonies, theater and shows while always carrying with them a drop of Cirque du Soleil magic. Thanks to their cross-media experience, something magical and wonderful of the unexplainable will happen, transcending any concept of theater, concert or Dantesque performance through a contamination of technological and theatrical languages.<\/p>\n

Elio Germano<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Internationally acclaimed Italian actor and director winner of multiple awards, such as the Prix d’interpr\u00e8tation masculine at the Cannes Film Festival, the Silver Bear for Best Actor at the Berlin Film Festival, a Silver Ribbon and three David di Donatello awards. He has worked in film among others with the D’Innocenzo Brothers, Paolo Virz\u00ec, Gabriele Savatores , Giorgio Diritti , Gianni Amelio. In the theatrical field, besides being a performer and director, he is also an author, such as Segnale D’Allarme, a text written in four hands with Chiara Lagani. Elio Germano is, in addition, the performer and author of one of the world’s first experiments in virtual reality theater, Segnale D’Allarme, which was followed by Cos\u00ec \u00e8 (o mi pare), a rewrite of Pirandello’s Cos\u00ec \u00e8 (se vi pare)signed by Germano himself.<\/p>\n

Teho Teardo<\/strong><\/p>\n

Composer, musician and sound designer, Teho Teardo is one of the most original and eclectic artists in the European music scene. A curious sonic explorer who is always alert to stimuli coming from other artistic forms, he is dedicated to concert and recording activity, releasing several albums investigating the relationship between electronic music and traditional instruments. He boasts major collaborations with Blixa Bargeld, Enda Walsh, Erik Friedlander, Elio Germano, Charles Freger, Michele Riondino and Vinicio Capossela. In addition, over the past 20 years, he has composed numerous soundtracks for directors such as Sorrentino, Vicari, Molaioli, Salvatores and many others, also winning a David di Donatello, Ciak d’Oro and Ennio Morricone Award. In 2020 he released the album Ellipses dans l’harmonie, produced and commissioned by the Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation and entirely inspired by the music contained in the pages of Diderot and D’Alembert’s Encyclop\u00e9die.<\/p>\n

Lulu Helb\u00e6ke and Simone Ferrari<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Lulu Helb\u00e6k and Simone Ferrari, internationally renowned directors and creative directors, are recognized for the boldness and originality of their artistic vision. Active internationally, they have enormous experience in creating live performances including: Cirquedu Soleil shows, Olympic Ceremonies, theatrical shows, TV shows, immersive experiences and videos. The multidisciplinary nature of their creations allows Lulu and Simone to approach each project in a unique way, transcending the limits of each context and seeking through the contamination of languages to create unique spectacular experiences. Elegance, harmony, suggestion, and energy are the pillars of this research, where they skillfully mix theater, new technologies, video art, and sets with a strong visual impact.<\/p>\n
