The Lumineers, the two-time GRAMMY\u00ae Award-nominated band whose 21 #1 hits on radio charts around the world have made them one of the most beloved bands of all time, will stop at Rome Summer Fest on June 26, 2023 with the Brightside World Tour 2023. The concert at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone’s Cavea will be an opportunity for the U.S. band to present live the latest studio album, “Brightside,” released in January 2022, but also its biggest hits, from “Ho Hey” to “Stubborn Love.” The Lumineers are Wesley Schultz (vocals and guitar) and Jeremiah Fraites (drums, percussion, piano). Together since 2005, their influences range from Bob Dylan, The Stones, Leonard Cohen, Tom Petty to Bruce Springstein, and their live shows are memorable and full of energy. For The Brightside World Tour 2023, the Lumineers will collaborate with the REVERB association on the Climate Positive campaign. In addition to reducing the tour’s carbon footprint and engaging fans in taking climate-supportive actions during shows, the band will support projects aimed at directly and significantly eliminating greenhouse gases. These efforts will eliminate at least 150% of the tour’s emissions.<\/p>\n
BIO THE LUMINEERS<\/strong><\/p>\n From a debut in small live clubs and open mic nights, the band has become a live giant, selling out arenas around the world. The band made their debut on the international music scene in 2012 with their hit, “Ho Hey,” the first single from their eponymous debut. The record ranked #2 on the SoundScan\/Billboard 200, earning three RIAA platinum certifications in the United States and Canada and a prestigious pair of GRAMMY\u00ae Award nominations, including “Best New Artist.” In 2016 “Cleopatra” was released, the album debuted at No. 1 on the Album Chart in the U.S., Canada and the U.K. achieving RIAA platinum certification in the U.S. and 2-time platinum certification in Canada. The Lumineers’ third album, “III,” has been praised by critics and audiences since its release in September 2019. The band’s fourth album, “Brightside,” was released on Jan. 14, 2022, and its first single, the title track “Brightside,” reached the number one spot on the Billboard AAA Radio Chart-it is the sixth time the band has topped this chart. In addition to AAA, the song climbed the Alternative Radio Airplay and reached the top of Mediabase’s AAA chart. Produced by longtime collaborator Simone Felice aided by David Baron (mix & sound engineer) in two sessions in the winter and spring of 2021 at Baron’s Sun Mountain Studios in bucolic Boiceville, New York, the album “Brightside” represents the return of The Lumineers after more than two years, as well as the most joyful and spontaneous work the band has done to date.
