Dire Straits Legacy return Nov. 30 to the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone for an unmissable concert as part of the Italian leg that will conclude their world tour.<\/p>\n
“Money for Nothing,” “Sultans of Swing,” “Romeo and Juliet,” “Walk of Life,” “Brothers in Arms,” and “Tunnel of Love” are just a few of the many hits that will be performed by the All Stars Band consisting of Alan Clark on keyboards and Hammond piano (inducted as Dire Straits, along with John Illsley and Guy Fletcher, into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame) , Phil Palmer and Jack Sonni on guitars, Mel Collins on saxophones, Danny Cummings on percussion (all musicians who have worked closely with Mark Knopfler’s band, both live and in the studio) as well as Trevor Horn on bass (formerly The Buggles, Yes).<\/p>\n
Completing the lineup are three great Italian musicians, such as Grammy award-winning drummer Cristiano Micalizzi, Primiano Di Biase on keyboards (Venditti, De Gregori, Richard Bennett, Steve Phillips), and the group’s frontman Marco Caviglia on vocals and guitar, widely regarded as the world’s best interpreter of Mark Knopfler’s unique style.
