The creative writing masterclasses IL ROSSO E IL NERO conceived by the De Sanctis Foundation and produced in collaboration with the Fondazione Musica per Roma are aimed at all people who dream of writing: the curious, enthusiasts, beginners, and writers who have already published.
The lecturers are authors who are among the best pens in our literature, and their masterclasses will explore an aspect of writing from a classic text, because there is no better way to learn to write than to learn to read.
The masterclasses will all have a duration of 8 h concentrated in one day, divided into a frontal lecture part and a workshop part where participants can have a direct confrontation with the lecturer to explore and deepen their creative style and ideas.
Participants can purchase a single masterclass or a masterclass package to work on multiple aspects of writing: places, characters, character relationships, conflicts, structure, sources, dialogue, and more.
At the end of the experience, participants will be able to write and submit a story that will be evaluated by De Sanctis Foundation mentors.
At the end of the year, the three best stories will be awarded prizes and the overall winner will be published in an online or offline literary magazine.
