This album was put together on the occasion of Lelio Lutazzi’s eightieth birthday, and is a fitting tribute to a great artist and composer on the part of his friends and colleagues. Enthusiam for the project was unanimous, and Gianni Ferrio in particular  prepared the arrangements of several pieces performed by the PMJO – Parco della Musica Jazz Orchestra.  Lelio Lutazzi himself took part in recording the CD, with his piano interpretation of “El Can de Trieste.” For the occasion the celebrated duet between Mina and Luttazzi, “Chi mai sei tu,” has been included in the tribute.
