PINO IODICE
Pianist, keyboard player, composer and arranger born in Naples, Pino Iodice is in charge of many arrangements and projects for the PMJO. He obtained his diploma in piano and subsequently specialised in composition, taking part in Franco D’Andrea’s seminars in Siena and then receiving a diploma in jazz arrangement at the Conservatory in Latina. He teaches at the Università della Musica and the Saint Louis Music Center in Rome. He has worked with many different musicians rangings from jazz to ethnic music to pop. Very active as a composer and arranger, he currently collaborates on the repertoires of the Roma Jazz Ensembe and the Xenia Band. He has also overseen studio production for a variety of artists, produced music and played live for diverse stage productions and films for television; he has taken part in the recording of many CDs and appeared at a variety of festivals at the international level. Two CDs under his name have already been released.
