CLAUDIO CESAR CORVINI
Born in Buenos Aires, he studied with his father Alberto Corvini, first trumpet and jazz soloist at the RAI for 30 years. As an adopted Roman he has worked as first trumpet and soloist with numerous bands in the capital (Roberto Gatto, Giovanni Tommaso, Danilo Rea, Dino Piana, Franco Piana, Gianni Basso and Oscar Valdambrini) as well as American bands (George Garzone, Steve Turre, Nataline Cole and Donald Harrison). With his brother mario and the Iodice brothers Pino and Pietro he founded the Corvini Iodice Roma Jazz Ensemble and has made several albums, one of which recorded live with the great saxophonist Jousef Lateer at the Metastasio in Prato. Since 2004 he has taught jazz in Siena and at the Conservatory in Foggia.
