| Just like other publications by Musica per Roma, this is also a catalogue edited to accompany this artist’s exhibition at the Auditorium’s foyer, an artist who has died only recently. This volume, which also contains photographs, explanations, critical essays and the artist’s own writings, begins with a conversation that took place in May 1984 between Matta himself and two art experts: K.V. Waberer e C. A. Haenlein. The themes discussed in this dialogue are those of the relationship between painting, architecture, mathematics and even geometry, although not the Euclidean one, within the general setting of the artist’s poetry and that of the Surrealist movement to which Matta belonged. | |
