The book consists of six short chapters: From Augustus to the year 1900, a short chronology of Augustus’ Mausoleum; Corea’s transformation into the Auditorium; concerts at the Augusteo, 1908/1936; the soundproofing projects; the demolition of the Augusteo; the Auditorium Parco della Musica.

"Dall'Augusteo all'Auditorium" (“From the Augusteo to the Auditorium”) is a photo album directed by Italo Insolera, one of the most renowned 20th Century Roman urban design historian, and by Alessandra Sette. This book was published for the exhibition organized at the Parco della Musica between December the 21st and April the 30th 2003, in collaboration with the Comune di Roma and the Accademia Nazionale Santa Cecilia.
